Turning 20, the festival took over Brooklyn Borough Hall on Sun, Sept 21 (10 a.m.–6 p.m.), with Bookend events Sept 14–22, a Virtual Day Sept 14, and Children’s Day Sat, Sept 20 (10 a.m.–4 p.m.). I split time between Plaza and Courtroom: Marlon James (1 p.m.) and Alison Bechdel (4 p.m.) in the Courtroom; Jasmine Guillory (1 p.m.) on the Main Stage. Books by powerHouse (Main Stage/Courtroom) and Greenlight (Center Stage). Banned Book Reading Garden ran all day on Johnson St/Cadman Plaza East.
